Phonsavan

I’m back in Laos, I get to Sam Neua where after spending the night, I took another bus to Phonsavan and here I decided to stay a few days to rest and to see the Plain of Jars, which is the attraction of this area.

The Plain of Jars are different locations where there are stone jars, made of one piece and of different sizes (the largest is 2.5 meters in diameter), scattered on the floor in different positions, although there are different opinions or versions because these jars were made, the most accepted is that they were used as funerary containers.

From the town of Phonsavan highlight is its weather, although during the day is hot, the nights are fresh and cover with a blanket at night, is a luxury. Also has a couple of markets, the most useful at least for me, the food market, where you can buy all kinds of fruit and there are places where different types of food prepared at great prices.

After 4 days I took a night bus, and today I write from Vientiane, where he had been, but I have planned, after traveling through southern Laos, back to Vietnam, so I had to do a visa, I have taken advantage to do some more pictures, which you find in the tab Laos – Vientiane in the photo section.
